Specializing in Large Pressure Vessel Manufacturing
NRG can fabricate pressure vessels made out of Carbon Steel (including Low Temp CS A350 LF2) and Stainless Steel (304/L or 316/L) . The sizes ranges from 6″ OD to 110″ OD with vessel thickness up to 2″ thick. Our shop can accommodate vessel weights up to 40,000 lbs (20 tons) max. We have certified welders, pipe-fitters and QC inspectors plus credible subcontractors to satisfy NDE requirements (X-ray, Hardness and PWHT) per project specifications.

Structural skid manufacturing is a core service offered by Cape. We strive to keep our designs simple, while keeping in mind strength, lifting points and allowing fabrication to be highly efficient, which results in cost savings for our clients. We have developed an exception reputation for our designs of structural steel skids. Cape is a fully CWB certified welding fabrication facility and we build to the CWB standard
Sample Tubs – Structural Steel Welding (CWB Certified)

Sample Tubs

Sample tubs are typically installed on Treaters & FWKO’s in order to verify the quality of the oil at different heights in the vessel. A simple design is a tank with the ability to easily collect the sample without spilling oil. A more elaborate design has provisions to collect fumes and exhaust them out the building. Typically a sample tank is paired with a blowcase (pictured). This forces any excess fluid in the sample tank to be pumped into the drain or recycle system. Each of these are custom designed to fit your package, however we do have standard units available for field retrofit

In order to reduce field installation cost and improve operator friendliness, we can offer option pricing to install platforms and ladders onto any package that may require it. We can customize the design to your project and build to any standard required.
